Dr. James Magara,

CHAIRMAN, BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Headvocates for African servant leadership, mentoring, and equipping leaders. He develops leadership and business programs for several institutes and is passionate about utilizing Africa's human capital. He wrote "Positioning Africa for the 21st Century." Dr. Magara is the Deputy Director General of the Institute for National Transformation and sits on multiple boards. He holds advanced degrees in strategic leadership, organizational leadership, dental prosthetics, and dental surgery, along with various leadership training certificates. 

Hon. Dr. Benson 

Obua-Ogwal

MEMBER, BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A leadership consultant and former Ugandan MP (2011-2016). He has worked with PLAN Uganda, UNICEF, and UNDP, and served as Secretary General of the All Africa Students Union. He teaches at the Institute for National Transformation and the Institute of Parliamentary Studies in Uganda and is a certified coach with the John Maxwell Team. He holds degrees from Zoe Life Theological College, the University of Ghana, Makerere University, and the Institute of Teacher Education.

Dr. Monica Musenero

MEMBER, BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A public health expert who has led Ebola response efforts in Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She has worked with Uganda’s Ministry of Health, local governments, and universities. She is a board member of the Institute for National Transformation and chairs the board of St. Paul High School. She holds degrees from Makerere University and Cornell University.

Robert Mutyaba

MEMBER, BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A Computer Scientist and Entrepreneur. He directs RBM Enterprise Solutions Limited and serves on boards including Child and Family Foundation Uganda and Our Trees Our Future Uganda Limited. He leads Christian discipleship through Connecting Business and Marketplace to Christ (CBMC) in Uganda. Robert graduated from Makerere University with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and holds a Master's in Computer Science from the same university. He completed an Executive Leadership certificate at the Institute of National Transformation in 2012.

Dr. Christine Ondoa

MEMBER, ADVISORY COUNCI

A seasoned Senior Consultant Paediatrician with 24 years in public service, including as Uganda's Minister of Health and Director General of the Uganda AIDS Commission. She holds two Master’s Degrees: one in Public Administration and Management from Uganda Management Institute, and another in Paediatrics and Child Health from Makerere University. Dr. Ondoa also has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Medicine and Surgery from Makerere University. She completed leadership programs at the Institute for National Transformation and Sundoulos African Leaders Training Institute

Prof. Vincent Anigbogu

MEMBER, ADVISORY COUNCIL

Founded the Institute for National Transformation (INT) in Lagos, Nigeria in 2007 to educate leaders across different sectors. He holds degrees in Chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate from the University of Alabama. Prof. Anigbogu taught in the USA for over 20 years before returning to Nigeria in 2006 to focus on leadership development. He is an acclaimed international speaker and author on transformational leadership.

Dr. Philip Igbinijesu

MEMBER, ADVISORY COUNCIL

Deeply committed to Africa's revitalization, influencing leaders and followers through education, career, and philanthropy. He leads several organizations including the Institute for National Transformation (INT) in Southern Africa and Surepace Business Academy (SBA). Based in Lagos, Nigeria, he founded the SHAPE Empowerment Foundation and supports initiatives like free bus transportation for school children and mentoring programs for public school students. Dr. Igbinijesu holds degrees in Law, Business Administration, and a PhD in Strategic Leadership. He also chairs Pwanedge Properties Limited and manages Kings Court Management Consultants (KCMC).

Newton Baloyi

MEMBER, ADVISORY COUNCIL

A social entrepreneur dedicated to transforming Africa. With over 21 years in mining, engineering, construction, and project management, he founded companies in mining consultancy and engineering. Newton served on the boards of the Johannesburg Property Company and the Association of South Africa Quantity Surveyors. He holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying and a Diploma in Engineering Projects Management. Newton is a registered professional quantity surveyor and commercial mediator based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
